Please be advised that the location for the 2021-2022 Season Mandatory Meeting has changed.
The meeting will be held EITHER at the Grand Prix Room (on the left of the entrance drive as you enter the Los Angeles Equestrian Center) OR at the LAEC Hospitality Barn (Next to the Small Oval show ring, near the Equidome and show stalls). We will add an updated post tomorrow on Facebook tomorrow once the location has been finalized by the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Thank you! https://www.facebook.com/saddleseatwestern

The SWSL will return for a 2021-2022 season following a lengthy hiatus due to the Covid-19 outbreak. We will update our online resources accordingly and will be releasing informative emails to help you stay updated. We appreciate your support and your help as we begin opening our competition season as safely as possible.
As of now, the tentative schedule is:
Membership and entry forms will be posted on our website in July 2021. In consideration of the health and safety of our participants, the SWSL is planning on pushing the 2020-2021 season to begin in February 2021, rather than November 2020.
As of now, the tentative schedule is:
Membership forms will be available in late November. If we only have 2 shows, fees will be reduced to reflect this. We understand this is difficult for all and we ask that our members know the situation is fluid and may change based on the recommendations of the local government and health authorities, as well as the United States Equestrian Federation. We are monitoring the situation and will make any and all updates as soon as we are able to be respectful of everyone's time. The SWSL will be releasing information detailing our heightened health and safety protocols for all events. With everyone's participation and compliance, we will do everything we can to keep our competitors safe during these difficult times. We thank you for your patience and understanding! Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the SWSL has cancelled the April 19th Show and April 26th Awards Banquet. The USEF has extended their recommendation that all licensed shows be postponed until after May 3, 2020.
The SWSL Board is currently judging whether rescheduling the Show and the Awards Banquet for July is feasible. Please check your emails as a survey has been sent to help with this decision. We understand this is a difficult time for all - please stay safe! Important Update: The USEF strongly recommends all licensed shows be suspended through April 16, 2020. Our next show is scheduled for April 19, 2020. The SWSL is closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments and will advise if there are any changes to our show's status.
Details regarding the USEF recommendations and additional resources from the CDC, WHO, USOPC, and the FEI are available on usef.org/media/coronavirus-resources. Due to the success of the restructured February show and positive feedback, the SWSL will be rearranging the show class list as follows going forward.
